Natural Ways To Minimize Unwanted Hair Growth

Instructions: In a bowl, mix one tablespoon gram flour, one teaspoon cured, and one teaspoon turmeric. Add in some lukewarm water until it forms a smooth paste. Apply this paste for 20

minutes and peel the flour off. Later, wash under running water and pat dry.

Basil Leaves- Fight Against Inflammation

Basil leaves contain phytochemicals that have strong anti-inflammatory properties. These protect your skin from rashes, blisters, and pimples. When mixed with onion, its anti-hair properties get enhanced.

Instructions: In a bowl, crush ten basil leaves and add onion paste made from a whole onion. Apply this paste for 15-20 minutes and wash with running water. If this process is repeated twice a week for several months, there are noticeable changes in hair growth.

Sugar- Make Your Wax

Sugar, with its natural coating properties, is equivalent to the wax that you would use traditionally. Sugar has an edge of adhering to the hair follicles compared to the traditional wax that binds to the skin. Due to this, natural sugar wax offers less pain, minor skin irritation, and better results.

Instructions: In a saucepan, combine one cup of granulated sugar with two tablespoons of lemon juice. Next, add in two tablespoons of water and heat it on a low flame until the mixture becomes waxy. Let the mixture cool or wait until it is safe for use. Then, apply it in the same direction as the hair, and using waxing strips, pull it upwards, holding the skin tight.

Note- to use this technique, and your hair should be longer than ¼ size.

Papaya- For Reduced Hair Growth

If you are looking for quick results, then papaya is not the solution because its results take a long time to produce. Papaya contains an enzyme called papain. This papain will attach to your hair follicles and weaken them, causing them to shed off. Turmeric can be added to enhance the antioxidant properties. This technique works best for susceptible skin and keeps away skin infections.

Instructions:

  1. Take about 50ml of raw papaya pulp in a bowl.
  2. Add two tablespoons of turmeric and mix until you get a paste.
  3. Apply this mixture on your skin and wait for 20 -30 minutes.
  4. Wash with running water and pat dry.
  5. Use this hair removal technique twice a week for three-four months for long-term results.

Egg- A Natural Conditioner

You might have heard of applying egg to your hair because it’s an excellent conditioner. But it also includes skin-nourishing properties that can condition the skin as well. In addition, combining the egg with corn starch and sugar will further cause the hair follicles to be removed from their roots.

Instructions: In a bowl, mix egg whites, one teaspoon cornstarch, and one teaspoon sugar. You can increase the measurements according to the surface area you are applying over.

Apply this paste for 30 minutes and peel off the mask. Wash with soap to get rid of the egg odor and pat dry.

Coconut Oil- Exfoliating Agent

Coconut oil is the king of oils with several benefits. Its usage is widespread in an Asian households, and hot oil massage is something Americans love. When you indulge in a regular hot oil massage, your skin exfoliates, causing the pores to open and get rid of the dry hair. This further causes hair thinning. The color also gets lighter making it less noticeable.

Instructions: To get the best result, mix coconut oil, castor oil, sesame oil, mustard oil, and olive oil. Heat it on a low flame and massage gently in a circular motion.

Oats- Natural Hair Remover

Not your regular breakfast, but for your skin routine. The surface of oats is highly rough that acts as a scrubber and exfoliates your skin. Along with dead cells, it also helps in removing hair follicles. Add a bit of lemon juice and honey for some excellent results.

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add one teaspoon of coarsely ground oats along with one tablespoon lemon juice and one tablespoon honey.
  2. Apply this mixture to your skin and let it dry for 30 minutes.
  3. Rinse with warm water in a circular motion and apply a moisturizer because being an exfoliate, it can dry your skin.
